Rochelle’s Special Education Tips
Immediate Action Required
We are at the end of the first semester. You should be aware if students are making progress/gaining meaningful benefit from their reading programs. Do not delay making changes if they are not. Are you implementing the reading programs with fidelity? Does the reading methodology chosen still match a given child’s reading needs? Call for an IEP meeting ASAP if changes need to be made. Increase those direct service hours for reading. Do not delay. Time is of the essence.
