PK Law is pleased to welcome Associate Charles Kassir to the firm. Charlie is an Associate in the firm’s Labor, Employment and Education Group.
Charlie graduated magna cum laude from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law in 2019. While in law school, Charlie served as Executive Articles Editor of the Maryland Law Review, Member of the Moot Court Board, Research Assistant to Professor Donald G. Gifford, Writing Fellow to Prof. Jana Singer, as well as Student Bar Association Executive Treasurer. He also received the following honors: Order of the Coif, Elizabeth Maxwell Carroll Chestnut Prize (Dean’s Award), Litigation and Advocacy Award, CALI Excellence for the Future Award–Written & Oral Advocacy, and the University of Maryland Carey School of Law Merit Award Scholarship & Leadership Scholar.
After graduating from law school, Charlie clerked for the Honorable Joseph M. Getty of the Court of Appeals of Maryland where he performed extensive legal research and drafted opinions on a variety of Maryland issues including statutory disputes, constitutional law, criminal and civil procedure, torts, and employment law.
