PK Law is pleased to welcome Associate Elana C. Taub to the firm. Elana is an Associate in the firm’s Labor and Employment Group.
Prior to joining PK Law, Ms. Taub was an Assistant Public Defender with the Maryland Office of the Public Defender, where she represented indigent clients in criminal matters. Ms. Taub has courtroom experience including bail reviews, probation revocation hearings, motions hearings, jury trials, and plea negotiations.
Ms. Taub received her J.D., from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law. While there she was a Staff Editor for the Maryland Public Interest Law Project; Journal of Race, Religion, Gender & Class. Ms. Taub was the Criminal Law Association President and a member of the Women’s Bar Association. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Taub taught third grade as a Corps Member with Teach For America. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a Minor in Psychology from Washington University in St. Louis.
