Paul Finamore is a Member in PK Law’s Labor and Employment Group.
As an experienced trial lawyer who has practiced in state and federal courts throughout Maryland and the District of Columbia for over 30 years, Mr. Finamore’s experience includes defense litigation of employment litigation claims such as Title VII; age, race, and gender discrimination; wage and hour; whistle blowing; wrongful termination; ADA, FMLA and FLSA as well as litigation of general and professional liability matters including first and third party insurance claims; insurance fraud; liability claims involving accountants, insurance agents and dentists; and the defense of employment litigation claims.
In addition to his trial practice, Mr. Finamore regularly counsels employers on employment issues, workplace policies, and compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. He began practicing in employment law while serving on active duty in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate Generals Corps at Aberdeen Proving Ground.

Halle Gray is a Sr. Associate in PK Law’s Labor and Employment Group.
She focuses her practice on labor and employment, general litigation, insurance defense, premises liability, personal injury, and auto tort defense. Her active trial practice includes all aspects of a civil case including jury and bench trials in the district and circuit courts, participation in mediation, court ordered ADR, oral arguments, discovery, and pleadings.
Prior to joining PK Law, Ms. Gray was an Assistant Public Defender with the Maryland Office of the Public Defender, Eastside District Court where she represented indigent clients in criminal matters. With a caseload of 20-30 cases per daily docket, Ms. Gray was trial counsel in hundreds of contested cases and gained extensive litigation experience in addition to her trial experience, including discovery, legal research and writing. Prior to this position she was a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Karen C. Friedman of the Baltimore City Circuit Court.
Ms. Gray received her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Baltimore School of Law. While there she was the Associate Editor of the University of Baltimore Law Forum, and served as a Maryland Office of Public Defender Public Interest Fellow and a Rule 19 Student Attorney with the University of Baltimore School of Law Criminal Practice Clinic. Ms. Gray received her undergraduate degree from Loyola University of Maryland in General Business.
Ms. Gray is active in the community, previously serving on the PIVOT Board where she served her passion to provide disadvantaged women with workforce development programs and housing to reclaim their lives. Most recently, Ms. Gray was named a participant in the Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel (FDCC) Ladder Down Program which is a year-long program dedicated to leadership, empowerment, business development, and mentoring for women. The program is comprised of monthly large group training sessions, combined with small group accountability sessions, in the areas of leadership, business development, and mentorship.
Ms. Gray was named to the Maryland Super Lawyers Rising Star list for Employment Litigation Defense from 2023 – 2025. She also recently co-authored, Practical Law State Q&As, Background Check Laws: Maryland and Drug Testing Laws: Maryland.
