Pessin Katz Law, P.A. (PK Law) is pleased to announce that attorneys Halle Gray has been elected to PK Law Member.

 Halle is part of the Firm’s Labor and Employment Group where she focuses her practice on labor and employment, general litigation, insurance defense, premises liability, personal injury, and auto tort defense. Her active trial practice includes all aspects of a civil case including jury and bench trials in the district and circuit courts, participation in mediation, court ordered ADR, oral arguments, discovery, and pleadings. Prior to joining PK Law, Halle was an Assistant Public Defender with the Maryland Office of the Public Defender. With a caseload of 20-30 cases per her day daily docket, she was trial counsel and gained extensive litigation experience. Prior to this position she was a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Karen C. Friedman of the Baltimore City Circuit Court.

 Halle is active in the community, previously serving on the PIVOT Board where she served her passion to provide disadvantaged women with workforce development programs and housing to reclaim their lives. Most recently, she was named a participant in the Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel (FDCC) Ladder Down Program which is a year-long program dedicated to leadership, empowerment, business development, and mentoring for women. The program is comprised of monthly large group training sessions, combined with small group accountability sessions, in the areas of leadership, business development, and mentorship. Halle has been named to the Maryland Super Lawyers Rising Star list for Employment Litigation Defense since 2026. She recently co-authored, Thomson Reuters’ Practical Law State Q&As for Maryland: Background Check Laws and Drug Testing Laws and the “Independent Contractors” Chapter for the Lexis Nexis 2024 Treatise, Employment Contracts and Agreements: A Guide for Corporate Counsel.
