Pessin Katz Law, P.A. (PK Law) is proud to announce that Patricia McHugh Lambert, Esquire, has been named to The Daily Record’s 2013 list of Maryland’s Top 100 Women. Also, Ms. Lambert will join the “Circle of Excellence”, as a three-time winner of this prestigious award.
The Daily Record’s annual list of Maryland’s Top 100 Women was created to recognize outstanding achievement by women who have demonstrated significant professional accomplishments, outstanding community leadership and inspirational mentoring.
Since 1996, The Daily Record has recognized more than 1,000 high-achieving women who are making an impact in Maryland. This year’s winners will be honored at the Meyerhof Symphony Hall in Baltimore on May 6 at 5 p.m.

This year, The Daily Record received more than 500 nominations solicited from economic development agencies, women’s organizations, chambers of commerce and the business community at large.
Nominees were asked to complete an application outlining their educational and career history, professional and community involvement, corporate and nonprofit board memberships and mentoring experience. They were encouraged to submit one letter of recommendation from someone who is familiar with their accomplishments professionally, in the community and through mentoring.
A panel of judges composed of business professionals and past Top 100 Women winners from throughout Maryland reviewed all of the applications, narrowing the list to select this year’s Top 100 Women. The process is comprehensive and includes multiple panels judging hundreds of worthy applicants to find the best Maryland has to offer. This year, 63 women are first-time recipients.

In addition to this award, Ms. Lambert has been a recipient of The Daily Record’s “Leading Women” award and is an honoree of the Girl Scouts of Central Maryland’s 2013 Distinguished Women. Ms. Lambert has over 25 years of experience handling complex litigation and insurance matters and has worked on national class actions and regulatory matters for Fortune 500 companies. She was consecutively selected as a Maryland Super Lawyer from 2001-2013 and was named a Maryland Top 50 Women Lawyer in 2012 by Maryland Super Lawyers. She has served as the Women’s Leadership Council Chair, Executive Committee, United Way of Central Maryland and as a member of the United Way’s Tocqueville Society.
