PK Law Continues Expansion in Harford CountyThe addition of Mr. Brown and Mr. Young to PK Law follows Harford County Attorney Eric McLauchlin’s joining the Firm in June of 2022, and is a clear indication of PK Law’s commitment to Harford County and its goal of merging more area firms and attorneys into the Firm. The Towson-based, 50-attorney firm closed its Bel Air office in December of 2023 and opened a well-appointed and spacious office space on the Bush River on the Water’s Edge Campus in Belcamp, Maryland to accommodate the expected growth. The Firm is modeling the success it experienced at its Columbia office, which beginning in 2020, has grown  to nine attorneys along with paralegals and support staff. Much of the credit for that success is attributed to PK Law’s size, culture, and support. Eric remarked regarding Gus and Jay joining the Firm, “My own transition from practicing in a small firm setting to having the backing of over 50 highly skilled, highly talented PK Law attorneys was  smooth and supportive. We have demonstrated that such a transition allows for local, personalized, and quality representation with deeper support. Jay and Gus are both excellent attorneys with incredible reputations. When I found out they were interested in finding a platform to help them continue to not only grow their practices but to teach and pass along their skills to younger attorneys, I knew PK Law was the place for them. It is an honor to have the opportunity to practice with them and to have them support PK Law’s commitment to Harford County.” PK Law’s Managing Director, Drake Zaharris said, “Like Eric, Gus and Jay are highly skilled and respected attorneys and leaders in the Bel Air legal and business communities. They are a wonderful addition to our Firm, and it is a compliment to Eric that they chose to join him and our team in Belcamp.” He added, “They are the type of attorneys we want in our Firm to help us with our continued growth.” |
