The Pro Bono Resource Center of Maryland is hosting a virtual 5k run/walk to raise funds to provide critical legal assistance to individuals and families in Maryland during this time of tremendous need. In support of this great cause, PK Law has registered as a team with the Maryland Pro Bono Resource Center Run for Justice.  This is a virtual 5K event. Participants can walk, run, or swim a 5K distance (3.1 miles), not even all at once if you choose, during the month of June. (3 days left!)

If you would like to register yourself or your family members to participate, please use the link below and use the comp code “PKLAW”.

2021 Run for Justice Virtual 5k | RallyUp

Here are the full details on how it works:

Step 1. REGISTER AS A RUNNER (OR WALKER)

It only takes a minute and you’ll receive your personal fundraising page to start raising money for families in crisis.

Don’t worry if you can’t run an entire 5k. You can run, walk, bike, or even swim–and you don’t even have to do it all at once. Just complete five kilometers of movement sometime between June 1 and June 30.

Step 2. SPREAD THE WORD

Share your personal fundraising page with your friends and family, and ask them to give to this important cause!

Step 3. RUN OR WALK

Between June 1 and June 30, clock your 3.1 mile walk or run (with an app like MapMyRun, RunKeeper, Nike+ Running, etc.). Submit your time by 11:59pm on June 30, 2021 by emailing it to run@probonomd.org. The top fundraisers (individual and team), as well as the fastest finisher, will win a special prize!

For showing your commitment to pro bono and to helping others, we’ll send you a sweet Pro Bono Resource Center treat!
