Paralegal: Elder Law Group is seeking a Paralegal. Duties include preparing and submitting medical assistance applications; interviewing prospective clients; preparing client summaries; and drafting medical consents, advanced health care directives and other similar documents. Qualified candidates will possess Paralegal degree or experience equivalent. Additional qualifications include excellent analytical and organizational skills, ability to work as part of a team and willingness to learn. Strong communication and project management skills essential. Previous paralegal experience in at least one of the following areas helpful, but not required: medical assistance planning, estate planning, probate, health care and/or bankruptcy.
Paralegal Clerk–Part Time (25 Hours/Week). Seeking a part time Paralegal Clerk to support paralegal team in busy medical malpractice group. Responsibilities include preparing/issuing subpoenas, preparing related correspondence, organizing exhibits, processing invoices, contacting healthcare providers and assisting with other administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented and possess strong organizational skills. Requires data entry skills and proficiency with MS-Word. Hours: 25 hours per week working Monday through Friday during the business day; some flexibility in work hours.
