Andrew E. Vernick
Andrew Vernick is Of Counsel in the Firm’s Medical Malpractice Defense Group. Prior to joining PK Law, Mr. Vernick was head of the law firm Vernick & Associates, LLC, a boutique medical and professional liability defense practice located in Annapolis, Maryland.
Mr. Vernick has been practicing law for over forty years and has focused his practice on complex professional malpractice cases. He has defended hundreds of physicians, health care providers, and attorneys before the state and federal courts of Maryland, the District of Columbia, and Delaware. He is a well-regarded, experienced and respected litigator who has tried hundreds of cases to verdict.
In addition to defending professional malpractice cases, Mr. Vernick represents physicians, related health care providers, and attorneys in licensure matters before the Maryland, District of Columbia and Delaware Boards of Medicine, hospital credentialing committees, and Bar Counsel.
Mr. Vernick is rated AV-Preeminent® by Martindale-Hubbell, awarded by peer review, for the highest standards of professional skill and ethics.
