Meghan Sibiski has extensive litigation experience in a broad array of areas including healthcare, labor and employment, personal injury, auto liability, premises liability, trucking, construction, and insurance. She handles all phases of civil litigation of these matters including fact investigation, pleadings, pre-trial discovery, motions, oral arguments, client communications, settlement negotiations, witness preparation, mediation, court ordered ADR, and trial.
Recently she has focused her practice on education litigation and all aspects of special education law and the education of students with disabilities. She represents many of the Firm’s school board clients by attending and providing guidance and representation to them at IEP and 504 meetings, mediations, hearings and in federal and state courts. She also provides defense representation to individuals and institutions in matters that have arisen as a result of the passage of the Maryland Child Victims Act of 2023.
Meghan received her J.D. from Widener University School of Law. While there she received the Martin Luther King Semester of Service Fellow Award as well as a Certificate of Achievement for Intensive Legal Analysis.
In 2022 Meghan was selected to participate in the Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel (FDCC) Ladder Down Program – a year-long program dedicated to leadership, empowerment, business development, and mentoring for women attorneys. Meghan graduated from the program in 2023. Meghan has been selected a Maryland Super Lawyers Rising Star for Civil Litigation Defense 2023-2026 and was selected to the “Best Lawyers in America Ones to Watch List” for Insurance Law and Litigation – Labor and Employment in 2025 and 2026.
