Jeffrey S. Wettengel

Professional Experience

Jeffrey Wettengel is an Associate in the Firm’s Medical Malpractice Defense Group where he focuses his practice on the defense of health care providers and health care institutions throughout the State of Maryland. Jeffrey returns to PK Law after serving as both a summer associate and a law clerk in the Firm’s Medical Malpractice Defense Group.

While a student at the University of Maryland School of Law, Jeffrey served as Managing Editor of the Journal of Business & Technology Law and was a member of the Moot Court Board. Jeffrey also gained experience in alternative dispute resolution as a Rule 16 Attorney in the Mediation Clinic and as a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Team. Upon graduation, Jeffrey was selected by the faculty as a recipient of the William T. Cunningham Award in recognition of his exceptional achievements and service to the law school. Jeffrey also received the Litigation and Advocacy Award in recognition of his success in both intra- and inter-school appellate competitions.

Prior to attending law school, Jeffrey worked in the Office of the Governor in Annapolis, MD as a legislative assistant.

Jeffrey received his undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Maryland, College Park.
