Professional Experience

In 2004, Ms. Sholl received her degree in Economics from University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Upon graduation, Ms. Sholl accepted a managerial role at a Fortune 500 retailer. In that role, Ms. Sholl managed 300-400 employees at the location averaging $100M a year in sales. Above and beyond the leadership and management skills, Ms. Sholl gained valuable insights into tort, contract, insurance and labor/employment disputes from a business prospective. Ms. Sholl’s knowledge aids her in assisting clients, because she understands the impact of litigation on a client’s business.

Ms. Sholl’s previous professional experience led her to the University of Baltimore School of Law where she excelled academically, and utilized her previous experience to serve as a Rule 16 Attorney for the Community Development Clinic working with local non-profits and cooperatives. In conjunction with the Community Development Clinic and the Community Law Center, she planned and executed the first annual Organizational Legal Health Check-Up serving local non-profits. In addition, she co-authored the “Basics of Forming and Maintaining Cooperatives in Maryland” for the People’s Law Library of Maryland.

As an attorney, Ms. Sholl focuses her practice on Corporate/Business Law, Insurance Coverage, Commercial Litigation, and General Litigation. Ms. Sholl has handled insurance matters involving issues of fraud, material misrepresentation, arson, and allegations of lack of good faith. In addition, she has drafted detailed coverage opinions for complex general liability policies, commercial auto policies as well as personal property and auto lines. Further, Ms. Sholl has significant experience in handling mass flood actions involving complex coverage issues as part of an assigned national counsel team.
