Professional Experience

Nicole Ames is the Chief Business Development Officer at PK Law.  Prior to this position, Ms. Ames practiced law for over ten years, primarily civil litigation defense.  Ms. Ames obtained her J.D. from the George Mason School of Law and is barred in Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia.  She obtained her B.A. from the University of Maryland, College Park in Speech Communication.

In her current role, she is responsible for coordinating the firm’s overall branding and business development efforts.  In addition, she works with each of the attorneys in the firm to develop strong and effective individual marketing plans, assists the attorneys in implementing their plans with training and business development support.  Ms. Ames also works with the heads of the firm’s four main practice groups (Corporate and Business Services, Education and Employment Law, Litigation and Wealth Preservation) to develop and implement practice group marketing plans and works with the firm’s Managing Director and Marketing Committee to develop and implement a firm wide marketing plan.  Ms. Ames is responsible for managing the firm’s brand and internal/external public relations efforts.  She oversees the creative and substantive development of the firm’s website, social media activities, e-marketing outreach and client satisfaction initiatives.  In addition she strategizes and assists with implementing the firm’s recruitment and business development activities.

Ms. Ames lives in Catonsville with her husband and three children.
