Professional Experience

For over 25 years, Natalie has been an attorney defending actions of wrongful death and serious personal injury claims at both the trial and appellate levels. Natalie has been engaged in the representation of physicians and hospitals throughout the State of Maryland in the defense of medical negligence and other health care related actions. In addition, Natalie has represented landlords in the defense of personal injury claims relating to alleged lead paint poisoning as well as manufacturers defending product claims including kerosene heaters, snow plows, heavy metals and pesticides. Natalie has also represented retailers in the defense of actions involving allegations of premises liability, negligent security, and false arrest as well as insurers in cases of suspected insurance fraud.

Natalie, a Duke undergraduate and a University of Maryland School of Law graduate, has earned an AV Peer Review rating by Martindale-Hubbell and has been recognized by her peers by being selected for inclusion in Maryland Super Lawyers in 2007, 2008 and 2009, 2010,  2011, 2012 and 2013, Maryland Super Lawyers Top 25 Woman Lawyers in 2007 and 2011, Maryland Super Lawyers Top 50 Woman Lawyers in 2012 and 2013, Maryland Super Lawyers Top 100 Lawyers in 2006 as well as a Best Lawyers in America® in Medical Malpractice Law Defense in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013. In 2014, she was recognized as Lawyer of the Year for Professional Malpractice: Defendants by The Best Lawyers of America®. 

Natalie was recently invited to become a Fellow in the Litigation Counsel of America, a trial lawyer honorary society comprised of one half of one percent of American lawyers who have demonstrated effective accomplishments in litigation and superior ethical reputations.
