PK Law Corporate and Business Services Attorney Greg Weiner was honored as a finalist in SmartCEO’s 2014 Power Players Awards at an awards reception last evening.
The Power Players Awards program honors the region’s most enterprising attorneys, bankers and accountants for their leadership, accomplishment, innovation and success. Power Players represent the best and brightest in the region — the impact players that CEOs can count on to help grow their businesses. An independent committee of local business leaders evaluates the applications and chooses the Power Players based on the quality of nominations submitted.
Greg Weiner practices in the areas of corporate and securities law. He has managed numerous private placements involving both equity and debt offerings for companies in various industries. He frequently advises clients in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, commercial lending, and complex contracts. The transactions he handles often involve government contracting, intellectual property, and technology transfer concerns.
Additionally, Greg advises numerous professional service firms– physician practice groups, accountants, attorneys, and design firms, among others. He assists them in connection with general business matters, such as practice formation, practice/business combinations, employment contracts, and real estate needs.
Greg was nominated for the Power Players award by one of his clients, making the accomplishment particularly rewarding for Greg.
