Pessin Katz Law, P.A. (PK Law), is proud to announce the expansion of the firm’s Corporate and Business Services Group with the addition of Thomas D. Kohn as a Member of the firm.
Mr. Kohn is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Maryland School of Law. He is a member of the Maryland and District of Columbia Bars. He focuses his practice on Business and Corporate Law, Civil and Commercial Litigation and Franchise Law.
Tom has vast experience in a variety of business and transactional matters and devotes a key portion of his practice to working with private health care providers who also own and operate their own practices. He assists clients with practice formation, partner relations, hiring of associates, practice growth and management, partnership arrangements, the purchase and sale of existing practices and start-ups of new and expansion of existing practices.
A Baltimore native, Mr. Kohn is, and has been, active with many community and charitable organizations. He is on the Community Advisory Board of WYPR Radio, the Technology Committee of the Bar Association of Baltimore City and, until recently, a member of executive Committee of the Board of Directors of the JCC of Greater Baltimore, Inc. He is a contributor to Dentaltown Magazine and a frequent lecturer on business ownership, management and growth. Beginning in 2007 and for each year thereafter, he has been named to the Maryland Super Lawyers list in Business and Corporate law, an honor afforded to only five percent (5%) of Maryland attorneys each year.

Tom is married to Dr. Shari C. Kohn, a pediatric dentist in private practice in Hunt Valley, Maryland. Together, they are raising two children, Rachel and A.J.
